Arvada’s City Bulk Pickup Has Limits — We Don’t
Arvada does have a city junk option. Here’s why most people still call us instead.
Since 2021, Arvada has run a contracted trash program through Republic Services, and you can schedule a bulky-item pickup by calling 720-898-7575 (prepaid, items out by 7am). The city also holds free drop-off events at the North Area Athletic Complex (19500 W 64th Pkwy) on set dates — in 2026 that’s April 25, June 6, and August 15.
But the city program has real limits: the drop-off events cap you at 5 items and happen only a few days a year, and the bulky pickup won’t take refrigerators or anything with Freon, electronics, tires, or construction debris.
That’s where we come in. No item cap, no waiting for an event date — and we take the fridges, electronics, e-waste, tires, and construction debris the city refuses. Loaded and hauled same-day, 7 days a week.
Where Your Arvada Junk Actually Goes
We recycle or donate over 60% of what we haul through our GreenHaul program.
♻️ Donated
Usable furniture and household goods go to local charities — ARC Thrift, Habitat ReStore, and Goodwill — kept out of the landfill.
🔨 Recycled
Metal, appliances, and electronics are recycled responsibly, and we handle the Freon on fridges and freezers — exactly what the city program won’t take.
⚠️ Hazardous
Paint, chemicals, and propane belong at the Rooney Road Recycling Center in Golden — Arvada’s household-hazardous-waste site, by appointment.
🗑️ The Rest
True trash goes to the Foothills Landfill on Highway 93 in Golden, or Tower Landfill on the Adams County side — so you never make the drive.
Built for Arvada Homes — Old and New
Arvada is the largest city in Jefferson County and the 7th-largest in Colorado (over 120,000 residents, about 75% owner-occupied), and it’s really two markets in one. On the established side — Olde Town, Lake Arbor, Allendale, Club Crest, Ralston Valley — 1970s and ’80s ranches with full basements make estate cleanouts and downsizing some of our most common jobs.
On the growth side — Candelas, Leyden Rock, Five Parks, Whisper Creek, West Woods — newer homes mean remodel and construction debris and garage clean-outs. Whichever Arvada you’re in, we bring the truck, the crew, and a same-day schedule.
