The Catch with Denver's Free Program
It's free — but it comes with trade-offs worth knowing about.
2–4 week wait. Once you schedule, your pickup is weeks away. If you're moving, renovating, or just need it gone — that's a long time to stare at a couch in the driveway.
10-item limit. Doing a full garage cleanout or estate cleanout? You'll hit that limit fast. And your second free pickup won't be any faster.
Curbside only. Denver crews won't enter your home, garage, basement, or backyard. If you can't carry a 300-pound couch to the curb yourself, that's a problem.
Long exclusion list. No electronics, no tires, no construction debris, no fridges or AC units, no hazardous waste. If your stuff is on the "won't take" list, you're out of luck.
